An idea I had once for base construction was the concept of a "grid" system for construction. Wherein it'd block people from making spam-walls in the same area. There's also the concept of requiring a resource they pick up on the map to build with. (Which also drops if they're carrying any)

Yeah, I missed that on the 650's. At any rate he can get a better card than what he's got there, considering 3GB VRAM is pretty lame compared to other cards going at the same price with 4GB and better hardware specs. (Some comparisons on newegg should tell this pretty well)

Do you understand how SLI works? It doesn't matter if they have seperate VRAM, since SLI'd they can each render half of the screen, and that makes your point, well, pointless.
